De Fietsband CONTINENTAL GRAND PRIX 5000 700c TubeType Soepel is de opvolger van de zeer gerenommeerde Grand Prix 4000S II. Het Duitse merk ontwierp een product dat zowel geschikt is voor training als voor wedstrijd, op droog of nat wegdek.

De Grand Prix 5000 bestaat uit drie lagen en is ontworpen om rendement, grip en weerstand te combineren zonder het comfort te vergeten. Voor een uitzonderlijk weggedrag is de band uitgerust met de Lazer Grip-technologie. Dit geheel van kleine structuren aan de zijkant van de band zorgt voor maximale grip, zelfs bij het nemen van bochten op nat wegdek. Voor optimaal rendement heeft Continental zijn Black Chill-technologie verder ontwikkeld. 

Wat comfort en weerstand betreft, maakt de GP 5000 gebruik van de Active Comfort die trillingen absorbeert en de Vectran Breaker die is opgebouwd uit synthetische vezels en uw band zeer lekbestendig maakt met een gecontroleerd gewicht.
